A change of name does not change the entity you contracted with, does not create a new\nagreement, and does not affect your subscription, your entitlements, or your price lock. We will\ntell you in the application when it happens and reflect it at the next version of these terms.\n\nBy signing in to Forge, redeeming a trial code, or paying a subscription, you accept these terms.\nIf you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.\n\n## 2 \u00b7 Definitions\n\n**Forge** \u2014 the Crucible Logic Labs software suite, comprising the applications listed in \u00a73.\n**The Service** \u2014 Forge as operated by Crucible: the hosted application and compute, sign-in,\nentitlement, and the coordination that connects them to your Endpoint.\n**Endpoint** \u2014 the small program that runs on your own computer, holds your data, and serves it to\nthe Service over an encrypted channel when you ask Forge to do something.\n**Your Data** \u2014 everything you put into Forge or that Forge produces for you: contacts, notes,\ndocuments, messages, financial records, credentials and secrets.\n**Provider** \u2014 a third-party model provider (for example OpenAI, Anthropic or Google) used for AI\nfeatures, under a key you supply.\n\n## 3 \u00b7 What the Service is\n\n**What these terms cover.** This agreement covers Forge as a subscription service. Separately\nlicensed desktop editions \u2014 perpetual or beta installs supplied directly by us \u2014 are governed by\ntheir own license, which includes terms about the computer the software is installed on.\n\nForge is a business software suite. Depending on your subscription it may include ForgeAlliance\n(CRM), ForgeBudget, ForgeInvoice, ForgeProspect, ForgeScout, ForgeVoice, Fulla, and RavenJot.\nWhich applications you may use is determined by your subscription or trial.\n\n**You log in; we host the application and its compute; your data stays on your computer.** The\nService runs the software and does the work. It reaches your data, in place, on your machine,\nthrough the Endpoint, over an end-to-end encrypted channel. Crucible does not keep a copy of Your\nData.\n\nSome applications may be offered as **preview**. A preview application is provided as-is, may\nchange or be withdrawn, carries no support commitment, and is not part of what you are charged for.\n\n**What running Forge requires of your computer.** Because Your Data stays with you (\u00a74), the\nService depends on your machine in ways a wholly hosted product would not:\n\n- **Your data is stored in SQLite database files on your computer.** SQLite is embedded in the\n  application \u2014 you do not install, license, administer or back up a database server, and there is\n  no separate database product to buy.\n- **Disk space.** Modest, but not nothing. A new installation is a few megabytes; a CRM in daily\n  use for months typically measures in single-digit megabytes, and heavy use over years should\n  still sit comfortably under 100 MB. Forge also keeps periodic local backups of your databases,\n  which consume space in proportion to how many you retain.\n- **Availability.** Forge can only act while your computer is reachable \u2014 see \u00a74.\n- **An AI provider account of your own**, if you use Fulla or any AI feature \u2014 see \u00a75.\n\nIf we ever change how or where Your Data is stored on your machine, that is a change to the\nsubstance of this agreement and you will be told before it happens.\n\n## 4 \u00b7 Your data \u2014 where it lives\n\n**In plain terms, before the detail:**\n\n- **We process Your Data.** To do the work you ask for, Forge reads and works with your data\n  while the task runs. There is no way to run the product without this and we are not going to\n  imply otherwise.\n- **We do not retain it.** Nothing is kept after the task ends. We hold no copy, no backup, and\n  no archive.\n- **You retain all of it.** It stays on your computer, it stays yours, and it stays yours after\n  you stop paying us.\n- **We do not sell Your Data, share it, or make it available to anyone else** \u2014 not to advertisers,\n  not to data brokers, not to partners.\n- **We do not use Your Data to train models.**\n\nThe rest of this section is the detail behind those five sentences.\n\n**At rest, Your Data never leaves your computer.** It is stored on your machine, in database files\nthat are yours. Crucible does not store it, does not back it up, and cannot read it when you are\nnot using the Service.\n\n**What is encrypted, and what is not \u2014 because \"encrypted\" should not stand as a general claim.**\nCredentials and secrets that Forge holds for you, including the AI provider keys described in \u00a75,\n**are** encrypted and bound to your machine. **Your business records are not separately encrypted\nby Forge.** Contacts, deals, budgets, notes and mail are held in ordinary local database files and\nare protected by whatever protection your own computer provides. We recommend you turn on your\noperating system's full-disk encryption. We would rather tell you this than let a word do work it\nhas not earned.\n\n**The honest exception, stated plainly.** For Forge to *act* on Your Data, it must decrypt and work\nwith it while the task runs. During an active task, the specific data needed is present in\nCrucible's memory. That working copy is isolated to you, held in memory only, never written to\nCrucible storage, and discarded when the session ends. It is not a copy we keep; it is data passing\nthrough while you are using the product. We say this rather than claiming an absolute we cannot\nhonor.\n\n**Consequences you should understand before subscribing:**\n\n- **Backups are yours.** Because we hold no copy, we cannot restore Your Data if your machine is\n  lost, damaged, or its disk fails. You are responsible for backing up your own computer.\n- **Forge acts only when your machine is reachable.** If your computer is off, asleep, or offline,\n  the Service cannot reach Your Data. Tasks queue and run when it is available again. This is a\n  direct consequence of the data staying with you, not a defect.\n- **We cannot recover your encryption keys.** Secrets are bound to your machine. If you lose the\n  machine and its recovery material, the data on it is not recoverable by us.\n\n## 5 \u00b7 AI features, and where prompts go\n\nAI features require a model Provider.\n\n- **You bring your own key.** Provider API keys are held on your Endpoint and the Provider call is\n  made from your machine under your own Provider account. Your relationship for that data is with\n  the Provider you chose, under their terms \u2014 not with us as an intermediary.\n- **Or you run a local model,** in which case nothing is sent to any Provider at all.\n- **If Crucible ever offers a managed key,** it will be stated as such at the time, and used only\n  on a zero-retention basis. It is not the default.\n\n**AI output is a draft, not a fact.** Forge can draft messages, summarize documents, propose\nchanges to records, and suggest actions. These outputs may be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable, and\nmay be wrong in ways that read as confident and plausible. **You are responsible for reviewing\nanything Forge produces before you rely on it, send it, or act on it.** Forge is not professional\nadvice of any kind. Where an output could affect a person \u2014 hiring, credit, eligibility,\ncompensation, or any similarly consequential decision \u2014 you are responsible for the decision, for\nreviewing the output, and for compliance with any law that governs that decision.\n\n## 6 \u00b7 What you may do with Forge\n\nFor as long as your subscription or trial is active and paid, we grant you a non-exclusive,\nnon-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use Forge for your own business purposes, within the\napplications your subscription covers.\n\n**One subscription, one person.** Forge is built for an individual. Your subscription covers you;\nit does not provide shared access, a shared workspace, or a way to add a colleague. Someone else\nwho wants Forge needs their own subscription, and their records live on their own computer.\n\n**How your access works.** Your access is tied to your account, not to a particular computer. You\nsign in with Google; we store no password for Forge, so there is no Forge credential for you to\nshare or for us to lose. While your subscription is active you may use Forge from any computer you\nsign in from.\n\n**Forge acts on your machine.** Forge works on Your Data where it lives \u2014 on your own computer,\nthrough the Endpoint described in \u00a72 and \u00a74 \u2014 so Forge can only act while that computer is\nreachable.\n\n**Unexpected sign-ins.** If we see account activity we would not expect, we will treat it as a\npossible problem with your Google account and tell you. We will not treat it as a breach of this\nagreement, and we will not suspend you for it.\n\n## 7 \u00b7 What you may not do\n\nYou may not: resell, sublicense, rent or provide Forge to a third party as a service; copy,\ndecompile, reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code, except where that restriction is void\nunder applicable law; remove or obscure any notice; circumvent licensing, entitlement, or the caps\nand pacing limits built into the product; use Forge to build a competing product; or share access\ncredentials outside the seats you have paid for.\n\n## 8 \u00b7 How you use it is your responsibility\n\nForge helps you contact people. **You are solely responsible for the lawfulness of your outreach**,\nincluding any applicable anti-spam, electronic marketing, telemarketing, and data protection law,\nand for the terms of any third-party platform you use it alongside \u2014 including LinkedIn's own terms\nand its limits on automated activity. Forge's pacing limits are a safeguard, not a compliance\nguarantee, and you remain responsible if you override them.\n\nYou are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold and process the personal data you put into\nForge, and for responding to the requests of the people that data concerns. Because Your Data is on\nyour machine and not ours, you are the one able to answer those requests.\n\nYou may not use Forge for anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or designed to impersonate\nanother person or organization.\n\n## 9 \u00b7 Subscriptions, trials, and billing\n\nForge is sold as a subscription \u2014 monthly or annual \u2014 per the prices shown at purchase.\n\n- **Trials.** A trial is granted by a code we issue and gives time-limited access to the\n  applications it names. No card is required. When it ends, access ends unless you subscribe.\n  There is no automatic trial on a paid subscription: when you subscribe, your first charge is\n  taken at checkout.\n- **Renewal.** Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until canceled.\n- **Cancellation.** You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period\n  you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate part-periods.\n- **Price changes.** We will give at least 30 days' notice before a change affects a renewal.\n- **Price lock.** The price you pay when you first subscribe is held for **three years** from the\n  date of your first paid subscription \u2014 on whichever billing term you use, and whether or not you\n  commit to any minimum term. Cancelling and resubscribing within seven days preserves it; after\n  that the lock ends and the then-current price applies. The lock covers the plan you subscribed\n  to; if you change plan, the price of the plan you move to applies.\n- **Non-payment.** If payment fails, we may suspend access after a grace period. Your Data is\n  unaffected \u2014 it is on your machine \u2014 but you will not be able to reach it through Forge.\n- **Taxes.** Prices exclude any applicable sales tax, VAT or GST, which you are responsible for.\n- **Refunds.** In addition to any right you have under applicable law:\n  - **Monthly plans.** Cancel within **7 days of your first charge** and we refund that charge in\n    full. Subsequent monthly charges are not refundable \u2014 cancel and you keep access to the end of\n    the period you have already paid for.\n  - **Annual plans.** Cancel within **30 days of an annual charge** \u2014 your first, or any renewal \u2014\n    and we refund that charge in full.\n\n  Refunds are made to the original payment method. Your subscription and your access end when the\n  refund is issued.\n\n## 10 \u00b7 What happens when it ends\n\nWhen your subscription or trial ends, your right to use Forge ends.\n\n**Your Data stays where it always was: on your computer.** We do not delete it, because we never\nhad it. We do not hold it hostage and there is nothing for us to return. Your business records are held in ordinary SQLite\nfiles, which you can open with any SQLite tool whether or not you still have a subscription \u2014 so\nleaving does not lock you out of your own history. The secrets Forge held for you (API keys and\ncredentials, \u00a74) are encrypted and will not be readable outside Forge; re-enter those wherever you\ngo next. Exporting through Forge while your subscription is active is still the easier path.\n\n## 11 \u00b7 Availability and support\n\nWe aim to keep the Service available and will make reasonable efforts to do so, but we do not\npromise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may need to interrupt it for maintenance.\nNo specific uptime is guaranteed by this agreement.\n\nSupport is provided by email at hello@cruciblelogiclabs.com, Monday to Friday during US\nEastern business hours, excluding US public holidays. We do not commit to a response time.\nPreview applications carry no support commitment.\n\n## 12 \u00b7 Our intellectual property\n\nForge, including all software, interfaces, documentation and branding, remains the property of\nCrucible Logic Labs. This agreement grants a right to use it; it transfers no ownership.\n\n## 13 \u00b7 Your data and content remain yours\n\nYou retain all rights in Your Data and in anything Forge produces for you. We claim no ownership\nand no license to use Your Data for any purpose other than operating the Service for you, at your\nrequest, while you are using it.\n\nSpecifically, and without qualification:\n\n- **We do not sell Your Data**, and we do not rent, license, trade or otherwise make it available\n  to any third party for their own purposes.\n- **We do not use Your Data to train models**, ours or anyone else's.\n- **We do not mine it** for analytics, benchmarks, marketing lists, or product research.\n- **We do not retain it.** Processing happens while the task runs and the working copy is\n  discarded when the session ends (\u00a74).\n\nThe only data we do keep is what is needed to run the account itself \u2014 who you are, what your\nsubscription entitles you to, and billing records \u2014 not the contents of your CRM, your documents,\nyour mail, or your messages.\n\n**How we use your email address.** Your email address is how you sign in and how your subscription\nis recorded \u2014 the Service cannot work without it. We use it only to run the Service:\n\n- **Billing** \u2014 receipts, renewals, and payment problems. These are sent by Stripe, our payment\n  processor, not by us.\n- **Security** \u2014 anything affecting the safety of your account.\n- **Service and terms** \u2014 changes to these terms, to the Service, or to who we are.\n\n**We do not send marketing email.** No newsletters, no promotions, and no product announcements you\ndid not ask for.\n\n**We do not sell, rent, or share your email address** with anyone, for any purpose.\n\nIf we ever want to write to you about anything outside that list, we will ask you first.\n\n## 14 \u00b7 Confidentiality\n\nEach party will protect the other's confidential information with at least reasonable care and use\nit only for the purposes of this agreement. This does not apply to information that is public\nthrough no fault of the receiving party, was already known to it, or is independently developed.\n\n## 15 \u00b7 Warranties and disclaimers\n\nWe warrant that we will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care.\n\nOtherwise, **Forge is provided \"as is\"**, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all\nother warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose,\nand non-infringement. We do not warrant that Forge's output is accurate, complete, or suitable for\nany purpose, or that using Forge will produce any particular business result.\n\nNothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.\n\n## 16 \u00b7 Limitation of liability\n\nTo the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special,\nconsequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, or **lost or\ncorrupted data**.\n\nOur total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this agreement is limited to the amount\nyou paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.\n\n**Read that alongside \u00a74.** Because Your Data is on your machine and we hold no copy, data loss is\na risk you carry and it is not one this agreement compensates. Back up your computer.\n\n## 17 \u00b7 Indemnity\n\nYou will indemnify us against claims arising from your use of Forge in breach of \u00a77 or \u00a78 \u2014 in\nparticular claims arising from your outreach, your handling of personal data, or your breach of a\nthird-party platform's terms.\n\n## 18 \u00b7 Changes to these terms\n\nWe may revise these terms. A revision is a new version with its own content hash, and your\nacceptance is recorded against the exact version you accepted \u2014 so what you agreed to can always be\nestablished. Where a revision is material, you will be asked to accept the new version before\ncontinuing to use the Service. Continuing to use Forge after accepting is your agreement to the\nrevised terms.\n\n## 19 \u00b7 General\n\n**Governing law and jurisdiction.** This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of\nPennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts serving\nLehigh County, Pennsylvania have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of it, and we\nboth submit to that venue. If you are a consumer, nothing here removes a protection you have under\nthe law of the place where you live.\n**Entire agreement.** These terms are the entire agreement between us about Forge and supersede\nearlier discussions and proposals.\n**Severability.** If any provision is unenforceable, the rest continues in force.\n**Assignment.** You may not assign this agreement without our written consent.
